Broadcasters arguably have the most to gain from having their entire viewing audience go from analogue to digital TV. Consequently, they also have the longest to do list to prepare for the switch.
I am Steve Chilton, Commercial Manager, Inview, a digital TV switchover consultant with 15 years of experience of working on digital switchover projects with Governments, broadcasters and consumers. Meeting the needs of all three parties is demanding. In this document I look specifically at the role of the broadcaster and their needs in the initial ‘before’ switchover phase.
